What is “Lead Capture”

Perhaps you’ve read our blog How To Generate Leads Online If so, you’ll understand we use Lead Capture to help populate our virtual ‘rolodex’ for doing business online. Any business must attract traffic and establish relationships to thrive and grow. Retaining a rotary file of contact cards is the way we used to keep track back in the day. Now, we leverage technology to expand our reach beyond our own physical location to potential customers and business builders around the world. We use the Law of Attraction and Permission Marketing to fuel our enterprise.

Law of Attraction

The websites we use, that are available to everyone on our team, are professionally designed and content-rich. They target specific interests we all have in Health, Wellness, and Wealth Generation. We seek to invest our valuable time with interested people who want to know if what we do is for them, and how it might work in their life. Our job is to promote these websites to folks we think might be interested in a particular subject.

Permission Marketing

People who view one of our pre-designed “Lead Capture” websites (LCW) will enter their name and contact details to request more info. We Capture, or retain, the information people offer so that we may follow up with them later. It is important to remember we do not abuse this privilege, we do not ‘push’,  or harass people, and we Never resell names or contact information. Our LCW’s are not a ploy to populate a database for resale – We’re like Vegas… what you share with us, Stays with us.

So How do we Find People?

If you know us, you know we’ve been basically home-bound for years due to disabling chronic illness. Traditional Networking techniques teach business builders to get out and ‘See the people’ every day, attend booths at trade shows, and offer in-home presentations. We discovered we couldn’t physically maintain those kind of labor-intense, income-producing activities on a consistent, or predictable, basis in order to build a solid business. So, we had to find a better way. Now, we PROMOTE our Lead Capture Websites (LCW’s) through online and offline sources in these basic ways:

Promote for FREE.

Network with people online

Using social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc) is a great way to expand your sphere of influence with little, or no, additional cost. We’ll share the various platforms we use and how we use them. You decide which apps you feel most comfortable with. Once connected, you can begin meeting new people and building relationships. As you get to know folks (and they get to know you), you’ll listen and each share some of your ‘needs’ and ‘wants’. At some point, if appropriate, you may offer a link to your business for them to consider.

Be Yourself

It is important to remember NOT to friend people JUST to market to them… this NEVER works and can leave folks with a bad taste in their mouth. We highly recommend authenticity and honesty from the get-go. The best online marketing strategy is to friend people you share common interests with. There should be no ulterior motive or hidden agenda. Transparency is the best policy.

We never ‘push’ anyone.

Our job is to Guide and Teach only those who express an interest in learning more. We don’t specialize in “selling”, we specialize in “Guiding and Teaching”. As such, there is never any pressure, or ‘hard sell’. We empower others to put their hands on the levers and controls of their own progress. YOU give US permission to proceed or not. Since we’re not focused on closing a transaction, or ‘making a sale’, “no” is always a perfectly acceptable answer. We’ll still be here when/if you should ever change your mind.

Placing small Ads in Newspapers

You might think having an online business means you’ll be doing everything online. Well, when it comes to lead generation, not necessarily. Newspapers are a great way to tap into potential leads interested in what you’re offering. We teach how placing a small ad, with the name of your LCW in it (instead of your phone number), is a great way to get more exposure in whatever area you’d like to expand into. If you’re like me, you’re first thought might be “But print media is on the decline, why would I spend money to advertise in that medium?” Well, the reality is: millions of people still enjoy sitting down with their newspaper over a morning beverage. Whether looking for a new job, or another source of income, people will often pick up their local newspaper as part of that search.

Buying ads on Social Media

Social Media platforms offer various opportunities to advertise online for a fee. Sometimes it’s as simple as “boosting” a post, or can also be a very involved ad campaign with cost structures and target marketing. We’ll share with you what has worked for us and help you go in whatever direction you’d like. Be careful, it’s all too easy to spend way too much money and get little in return.

Advertise YOURSELF On YOURSELF

Isn’t it amazing how many of us spend good money to purchase clothing emblazoned with some corporate logo? Think about that for a moment… we’re paying for the privilege of advertising someone else’s business! What about when you work for yourself?  One of our Lead Capture Websites expresses what we’re working to achieve every day: FREEDOM. Read our Blog on what Freedom means. You may wish to have your LCW emblazoned on a shirt, bag, or other garment that you wear out in public. This can be a very economical way of promoting your LCW without ever having to say anything. When someone asks you about it, and people inevitably do, simply direct them to check it out online. We let our LCW do the work for us!
